In Lofoten, large amounts of snow have accumulated the 24 hours. Use caution on newly formed wind slab as these can be easy to trigger.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Tirsdag var det mye vær i regionen med kraftig vind og snøføyk.

I Lofoten er det kommet lokalt ca 30 cm og mer i innblåste heng.
Fra tidligere er det lite/ingen snø i terrenget.

18 mm precipitation, up to 25 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 200 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Moderate gale from northwest. -6 °C to 0 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Wednesday 7. December 2022

Little to no precipitation. Fresh breeze from northeast. -13 °C to -1 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Lokalt er det kommet mye nysnø i kombinasjon med mye vind. Enkelte steder kan det ha samlet seg seg snø til at eventuelle skred kan bli middels store. Fokksnøen kan være lett å løse ut.
Vinddreining til sør tirsdag kveld har gitt flere utsatte områder.
